Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff Trade Fair (GGS) is the first comprehensive trade fair for the handling of dangerous goods and materials in the German-speaking world. In order to cover the entire logistics chain, products, solutions and services must be considered for the transport and storage of dangerous goods and for the internal logistics processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety when handling dangerous goods and substances. The comprehensive range of products and services offered by the exhibitors is enriched by a first-class, user-oriented conference programme with numerous practical demonstrations, short presentations, workshops and discussions. The trade fair is targeted at decision-makers and specialists from the various logistics sectors as well as the representatives in charge of safety and security. The 30 per cent increase in exhibition space was also accompanied by a significant increase in visitor numbers. 1,480 participants from both Germany and abroad (2017: 1,060) came to see solutions, products and services on offer, for the transport, storage and internal logistics of hazardous goods and substances as well as optimal safety in the handling of highly sensitive goods and substances from the 65 exhibiting companies. The high-calibre conference programme, numerous practical demonstrations and industry relevant events convinced decision-makers, specialist managers and security officers from the various transport and logistics sectors.
